Signature Recognition
Recognition of signatures is the signature confirmation of the contracting party in a particular document, and may take place simply at a face-to-face meeting signing the document before the Solicitor or through another form of confirmation.
This type of recognition is often made in authorizations to leave minors in the national territory or in terms of foreign citizens to enter the national territory, all having to be done in person in the presence of the Solicitor.
In several situations, the representative of a company (partner, manager, administrator, etc.) is requested to act on behalf of the company, and to do so he or she will need a power of attorney, that needs to be made in person in the presence of the Solicitor, or alternatively by comparing the signature on the document with the signature affixed to an identification document.
Photocopy Certification
Photocopy certification is basically a statement certifying that the photocopy of a document presented is valid, thereby giving it the value of the original document. It is imperative that the original document and certified photocopy be presented and that it is in good condition.
It is a service often used for power of attorney in general or educational certificate of qualifications, as well as cases with successors and inheritance including the power of attorney from all heirs to notify the probate court, as most of the time it is required to submit the original documents before public bodies. This service allows you to keep the original.
Authentification of Private Documents
Private document authentication means the confirmation of the document content presented in the presence of the Solicitor.
There are countless situations in which the law requires that private documents be authenticated e.g. with regards to real estate purchase agreements, power of attorney and marital consent.
